The Muslim Cemeteries Association (MCA) initiative was established in 2021 when the Mowbray Cemetery Management approached the founders of MCA to develop a web application for the current manual Burial process that they were following.

The founders' vision was to develop the application, but it would need to provide the same facility to other cemeteries be it local, national, or international. MCA was developed to provide an online application to a family member of a deceased person handling the burial. It aims to computerise/automate the burial process between the Deceased Family, The Cemetery and the Undertaker.

MCA is a joint venture undertaken by the founders/developers and the Mowbray Cemetery Management.  

MCA do not operate the cemeteries and therefore cannot field any queries relating to that.

MCA is an autonomous application which is managed by volunteers. It charges the cemetery a nominal fee to cover for the software licences and operational costs. Any surplus funds will go toward social development and future Islamic projects.
