Home screen

To find a specific burial, you must first select the cemetery where the burial is located. From the home screen you can select the partner cemeteries by searching or selecting from the list

The following search options are available from the home screen.

- Search for cemetery using the province drop-down menu.

- Search for cemetery by typing the name of the cemetery.

You can search for cemeteries by province.

• Eastern Cape
• Free State
• Gauteng
• Kwazulu-Natal
• Limpopo
• Mpumalanga
• North-West
• Northern Cape
• Western Cape

Search by entering cemetery name.

You can search for specific cemeteries by using the text box to type in the name of the cemetery.

Select cemetery.

After you have selected the cemetery of your choice, you can search for local burials in the cemetery. The cemetery menu also allows you to do the following:

- Search for burials

- Book a burial. (See booking process for more details)

You can search for local burials in the burial search menu:

- Burial Type.

- Blocks (search by block location in the A-Z cemetery)

- Date

- Personal information of the deceased: (ID number / name / address or burial number)

Burial selection

Once you have selected the burial of your choice, you can see and do the following.

- View details about the deceased, the burial, the grave site, the informant, and the funeral director.

Edit Burial

As cemetery staff you would have access to edit and view burial details:

• Start (Burial details / Undertaker proxy / reopen family grave)
• Informant details (Contact / ID / Passport)
• Deceased details (Personal / ID / Passport)
• Dept of home affairs (DNA notice of death)
• Payment (Pauper rate / burial payment)
• Funeral (funeral details)
• Complete (Complete Burial)
